A little about me
My love for creation and craving for problem-solving led me to the Rhode Island School of Design, where I completed my Bachelor’s in Graphic Design in 2012 and began my career as a graphic designer. My aim has always been to combine function and beauty, ensuring that the elements I create are purposefully communicating to their audience.
After graduating from RISD, I started my career as a freelance graphic designer in Dallas, Texas. Through a variety of roles, I found my passion for website creation and digital marketing, and began learning everything I could about creating digital experiences. I consider myself to be a ‘Swiss Army Knife’ type of person, with a wide variety of skills and the ability to adapt to whatever is thrown at me.
Today, I live in Reykjavík, Iceland with my husband, Richard, and our little dog, Oliver. I lead a digital marketing team remotely for an awesome PR and Marketing firm called Idea Grove in Dallas.
Outside of work, I love traveling and exploring the beautiful country of Iceland that I feel honored to call my home. I surround myself with stories, whether they are told through television, video games, art, or books. I am currently learning how to speak Icelandic and how to adapt my hand-drawing skills into digital art.
